New CCIR Executive Officers Elected
CCIR members elected the following officers for a two‐year term ending March 31, 2017:

Chair:             Patrick Déry, Quebec (Superintendent, Solvency)
Vice‐Chairs:  Robert Bradley, PEI (Superintendent of Insurance);
                        Brian Mills, Ontario (Interim Chief Executive Officer & Superintendent of Financial Services);
                        Carolyn Rogers, BC (CEO and Superintendent Financial Institutions Commission)

Retirements
CCIR recognised the contributions of Doug Murphy (NS) and Fiona Charbonneau (YK), both soon to retire.

Travel Insurance Working Group (TIWG)
TIWG, currently in the research and information gathering phase of its work, is finalizing a survey on travel health insurance to be sent to insurers later this spring.

CCIR Secretariat Resources
CCIR has agreed to expand their Secretariat in the coming months in order to move forward with many initiatives and, in particular, to resource efforts around IAIS Insurance Core Principles Implementation Committee.

IAIS Insurance Core Principles Implementation Committee (ICPic)
The work of this committee continues on many fronts. A new Memorandum of Understanding to enhance cooperation among regulators has been drafted and it is hoped that signing will begin later this spring.

OmbudServices Oversight Standing Committee (OOSC)
Carolyn Rogers (BC) has agreed to take over the chair of the OmbudServices Oversight Standing Committee from Mark Prefontaine (AB) as he takes on the Chair of the General Insurance Statistical Agency.
