Alberta - Update of Codes of Conduct

 

The Alberta Insurance Council has posted proposed revised codes of conduct for life and general agents and brokers and for adjusters on the website for input.   Council timing is March 31, 2010 to receive comments.  One key change is that the codes have been updated to give examples of the types of issues that the Council handles.  The goal for the codes is to be more open and transparent.
