Ontario Auto Insurance Reforms

Ontario has announced a package of 41 reforms to auto insurance which are expected to control costs.  One of the main features of the reforms is the creation of a standard package of benefits from which consumers can opt to buy higher levels of coverage.  Some of the recommendations. The government is using joint industry implementation committees.  Implementation of regulations is expected by fall 2010.
