Incidental Selling
of Insurance Working
Group (ISI)
–The ISI report
was posted
on the CCIR website
in November 2008.
Responsibility for
implementing the
recommendations in
the report falls to
the Standards of
Practice Standing
Committee and the
new ISI Statistical
Committee.
Industry
Practices Review
Committee (IPRC)
– The IPRC final
report was posted on
the CCIR website in
December 2008. This
paper presents the
results of the
review of the
industry’s
implementation of
the three principles
for managing
conflicts of
interest. The
committee was
disbanded.
Complaint
ReportingSystem
–National Expansion
Working Group (CRS)-
The system
work on the expanded
system, being led by
the L'Autorité des
marchés financiers,
Québec, is on track
for a July 1st 2009
rollout. The CRS
Working Group is
exploring the
possibility of
usingwebinars -
interactive internet
seminars – for
communications
with stakeholders on
the rollout as a
cost effective
option that will
save travel and
other costs.
