National Complaints
Reporting System
The
national complaints
reporting system
(CRS),
launched in 2005 by
the Quebec AMF and
the Financial
Services Commission
of Ontario (FSCO),
was expanded
effective July 1,
2009. Over the past
year, the regulatory
authorities of
Alberta, Prince
Edward Island,
Manitoba, Nova
Scotia,
Saskatchewan,
Newfoundland and
Labrador and the
Yukon entered into
an agreement with
Québec and Ontario
for the use of CRS
as a complaint
reporting tool in
their respective
jurisdictions.
Complaint data will
be collected from
July to December
after which time the
first reports will
be developed.
