Canadians Are Satisfied with Travel Medical Insurance

A story in the Travel Market Report notes that nine in ten Canadian travelers filing a travel medical insurance claim are satisfied with their experience.

Filing a travel medical insurance claim is never something someone looks forward to. But 91 percent of Canadian travelers making a claim say they are satisfied with the customer service experience, from initial contact to final outcome, according to a survey.

In Le Journal de l’Assurance, Justine Montminy writes that while consumer expectations for travel medical insurance have risen, Canadians continue to be very satisfied with the product and claims experience.

Canadians Have Generally Positive Experiences With Travel Medical Insurance

Insurance Business Canada magazine reports on the positive findings in the Pollara research about travel medical insurance, and quotes CAFII Co-Director Keith Martin.

New research has revealed that Canadians’ experience with travel medical insurance has been largely positive.

The report was sponsored by the Canadian Association of Financial Institutions in Insurance (CAFII) and prepared by Pollara Strategic Insights. For the report, Pollara conducted an online survey, with 1,200 adult Canadians participating, between February 16, 2018 and March 05, 2018.
